It’s expertly crafted in Italy from tumbled Italian leather, constructed with a wide seam and base running down the centre of the bag, adding just the right amount of structure to the slouchy shape. 

Jo says: ‘This bag is great for work to fit literally everything in. It’s deceptively large because it has a slim profile that slots nicely under the arm when you wear it over the shoulder, but it really does hold all the essentials.’

Evening Ready

All the charm of a vintage snap-frame handbag, with a distinctly modern, architectural twist. Our Faux Pearl Handle Bag is the contemporary answer to accessorising evening looks. 

Crafted from soft Nappa leather, this Cream style has a structured top frame in our signature Old English Brass-tone hardware, which creates the perfect contrast against the supple, flat-base shape. The two detachable handles - structured faux pearls or a long chain strap - give you the choice of customisation.

Jo says: ‘The metal frame adds a layer of security because it snaps shut, keeping everything safe. The versatility of just the handles means you can have a totally hands-free option at a party if you want to enjoy canapes or a glass of champagne.’

The Daytime Choice

The clean lines of our Pouch Bag, now in a larger size ideal for everyday. 

This style is crafted from Nubuck leather that has the look of suede, but a buffed surface that still shows the material's natural texture, while giving it a more durable edge. The deep Chocolate Brown colour is contrasted with cream topstitched edges, then finished with our signature matte gold-tone brass hardware. Extra useful touches include an adjustable strap and internal storage. 

Jo says: ‘I love how the minimal look of the bag really highlights our bespoke designed twist-lock hardware.’

Contemporary Rework

How we do trends in a word: timelessly. The shoulder bag has been a staple in many wardrobes for years, but we’ve opted for a few changes to make sure our style has a modern edge while retaining season-spanning appeal.

The Dark Tan colour gives out Resin Stud Box Bag seasonal versatility, looking just as good with light summer dresses as it does with cosy outerwear. The supple suede adds extra tactility to the soft boxy shape, while tonal resin studs add further interest. We’ve gone a step further when it comes to designing an adjustable strap for this style: each bag comes with a length of detachable strap that you can connect to transform it from a shoulder to a crossbody.

Jo says: ‘This bag is our take on the classic box bag, but we’ve given it an elongated shape that's deceptively roomy. The resin stud detailing gives it that sprinkling of ME+EM design DNA.’

Signature Soft Structure

One of our all-time signature bag styles is back for autumn/winter in a new tactile finish and a compact mini shape. 

Expertly crafted in Italy, our Mini Resin Handle Bag combines the softness of Italian suede with the smooth structure of resin. The Intense Olive colour is cleverly chosen to complement the season’s palette across warm, earthy neutrals to colourpop brights. Carry it by the top handle or adjust the detachable strap to wear it cross-body or over the shoulder. 

Jo says: ‘We wanted to refresh our signature shape, so we went for a smart tonal look across the handle and the suede. This muted colour also makes a nice alternative to a black evening bag.’
